My Story

My name is Jake Williams, and I was born and raised in Peru, IN.

I graduated Peru High school in 1996 and joined the U.S. Navy Seabees. I spent 2 years on active duty before coming home for the Reserves. In 2000, I crossed over to the USAF Reserves to become a KC 135 Crew Chief at the Grissom Air Reserve Base. I concluded my military career in 2005.

After coming home from active duty in 1998, I was hired at Square D (Schneider Electric) in my hometown of Peru where I worked until 2017. After 19 years of unfulfilling factory work, I decided I wanted something more.

So, in 2017, I started a home improvement business with a friend of mine. We did residential work around Miami County for roughly 2 years before we decided to subcontract for Renewal by Anderson. We had 2 very successful years of window installation before my body decided it didn't want to cooperate anymore, and I sold my share of the business.

At that point, January of 2021, I decided to pursue a real estate career. In the meantime, while I was studying and going through my real estate course, I started another LLC to haul campers as a short-term financial fill-in. I completed my course study and passed my state and national licensing exam in early 2022, which is when I joined the Miles Realty team.

With a passion for service in Miami and surrounding counties, I am ready to help with your home-buying and selling needs. As a proud member of the Miles Realty Group family, I carry the values of hard work, integrity, and outstanding client service into everything I do.

When I am not making homeownership dreams come true for my clients, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, watching sports, coaching, doing anything competitive, and collecting coins.
